Wedding Co-ordinator
For the planning of your special day, you will have a dedicated wedding co-ordinator who can assist with every aspect of your special day. From specifically tailored menus sure to impress your guests to all facets of staging, lighting, sound, furniture hire and entertainment as well as bespoke flower arrangements, beautifully crafted wedding cakes and overall theming and styling of your day. Wedding Menus & Beverages
It is Thomas Johns’ award-winning reputation in fine dining, that allows him to fully understand and appreciate what it takes to create a truly memorable wedding experience. Having been awarded two Chefs Hats by the SMH Good Food Guide as Chef/Owner of Pello Restaurant, winning Best European Restaurant awarded by Restaurant & Catering, as well as his role as Sous Chef at Aria Restaurant, one of Sydney’s leading fine dining venues, on his CV, Thomas knows how to create a menu that embraces food, wines and cocktails that are designed to complement every couple’s individual taste ensuring the reception is an ever-lasting memory. You can select from our wedding packages or speak to our Chef and Co-ordinator to have a customised food and beverage package, tailored to meet your specific requirements. At dining abode we provide a number of options when it comes to wine or cocktail beverages on our Sample Beverage Pack offering 4 tiered packages including champagne, wines, beer, fresh juices and cocktails that can be matched to canapés that are served upon arrival of guests. We also offer an organic & sustainable beverage package. Beverage packages range from 2 to 5 hours depending on your requirements
The Sample Wedding Menu includes both a sit–down sharing option with delicate canapés served on arrival, followed by shared entrees, shared mains and dessert platters which can be served on a styled dessert table or if preferred, we can arrange a decadent wedding cake. The alternate option encompasses cold and hot canapés being served alongside grazing stations which may offer menu items such as cured meats, beetroot marinated salmon, savoury tarts, deboned and rolled chicken galantine and whole glazed leg ham with stunning seasonal roaming desserts to finish.
Food Stations
Food Stations are another fantastic option, catering for a more relaxed and fun approach which are tailor made for your wedding day. Food stations are very popular for weddings as they provide a dimension of theatre to your wedding day. You can choose from our list of hot and cold food station items such as soft tacos, mixed oyster bar, burger bar, antipasti, dessert bar which could gelato themed, chocolate or tropical fruit themed. You may opt for traditional Spanish Paella which is cooked right in front of you and your guests. Or you may have a few ideas of your own. We engaged Dining Abode to cater our wedding and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. He asked all the right questions to understand exactly what we were looking for and tailored a package to suit our needs and tastes. We were then introduced to Rochelle whose advice on sourcing, logistics and styling was invaluable. On the day, the team of waitstaff, lead by Rochelle, were friendly and efficient and the food was presented beautifully and (most importantly) tasted amazing. On the night and since the event, we’ve had so many positive comments from guests about both the food and the service.
