It’s Autumn!

Hi Everyone,

It’s hard to believe that Autumn is already here. While you might be sad to see the end of the beautiful Summer days and balmy nights, I have to say I welcome the change in season and all it has to offer including the rich, hearty flavours of Autumnal ingredients.

One of my favourite Autumn fruits is Plum and so I wanted to share a simple warming dessert with only 4 key ingredients to celebrate the Autumn season!

Plum Crumble
Ingredients:
Crumble
200g butter (melted)
300g plain flour
70g sugar

Plum Mix
4 plums (stone removed and cut each plum into quarters)
½ cup water
30g sugar
½ lemon rind grated (optional)

Method:
Mix butter, sugar & flour until large crumbs form.
Empty crumbs onto tray and bake at 170°C for 20 mins or until golden brown.
Place plums, sugar and water in a dish, cover with foil and place in oven at 180°C for 30 mins or until slightly collapsed.
Spoon plums & juice into plates, sprinkle crumble over plums, top with whipped cream or ice-cream
